Schedule of Activities!

All times for sessions are using USA Eastern Time Zone

Saturday, July 27, 2024

  • 4:00 pm — “What is Going on inside Daffodil Bulbs?” – presented by Harold Koopowitz.

In this talk we are going to look at the anatomy of daffodils, both the growing plant above the ground and what is happening below the ground. We will also look inside the bulb during the growing and the dormant seasons. This should give you an appreciation for how complex these plants can be.

  • Stay on your Zoom session as we prepare for our Speaker presentation coming up @ 5:15 pm.
  • 5:15 pm — “What I learned This Year” – presented by Mike Berrigan.

An experienced hybridizer, daffodil grower, researcher, and problem solver, Mike Berrigan will share his knowledge and lessons learned from the 2024 daffodil growing season. From his travels to the Netherlands and Northern Ireland at the World Daffodil Tour & Convention, to recent Narcissus research, to the 2024 season in his home state of Minnesota, there were significant lessons to learn and share with others.
